Relief Kits for Haiti

January 25-February 15

We are collecting items for the people in Haiti. This is a project thru MCC. Once we have all the donated items, I will take them to the Crowed Closet in Iowa City, IA as they are a desiginated MCC drop location.

Items needed for one kit:

4 large bars of bath soap in wrapper

1 plastic bottle shampoo 13-24oz

4 large laundry soap bars (sunlight or Zote brands)

1 squeeze tube of toothpaste

4 adult sized toothbrushes (in package)

4 new bath towels (med weight, dark or bright colors)

2 wide tooth combs (6-8 inches)

1 fingernail clipper

1 box adhesive bandages (40+ per box assorted kinds)

1 package sanitary pads (18-24) thin maxi

Donate one item or several. We will combine all of the donations together to form full kits. I have served with MCC in the past. They are a compassionate organization that stands behind what they say they are doing. You can view their website at www.mcc.org/kits/relief to verify this relief effort.
